Welcome to the All-Aquarium Catfish Convention 2008: Expedition Amazon! Sit back and relax as the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society and its guests take you on an adventure through South America. We’ll explore the Amazon basin and surrounding areas from land, water, and habitats big and small of catfishes and much, much more.

This convention will push our previous experience of two catfish conventions with new innovations, including a consistent theme through presentations and interactive workshop sessions. But, the event will be anchored in the hospitality and welcome of our club that many have enjoyed at previous events. Anyone interested in any fishes from South America will find this event informative, challenging and a whole lot of fun.
